Although the first halftime show sponsor was Carnival in 1979, sponsors weren't a common occurance until after Super Bowl XXVII. In the last 20 years, there have only been three major sponsors.

Bridgestone sponsored the halftime show from 2008 to 2012. Taking over from them, Pepsi was the sponsor from 2013 until 2022. Apple took over in 2023.
