Thomas H. Curtin

According to a 1914 newspaper, Thomas H. Curtin as the first person to dye beer green for St. Patrick's Day. He had a secret formula for mixing the beer with "wash blue," a dye that may or may not have been safe for consumption. Conveniently, Curtin was a coroner's physician, so his idea might just have drummed up some business.
